Competition Law in 2021 – adapting to the post-Brexit regime Webinar
Contemporary UK competition law has been developed based on the foundations and the rationale of EU competition law.
The post-Brexit domestic competition regime is undergoing a significant, unprecedented transformation.
The various aspects of the transformation concern substantive, procedural, institutional, enforcement, jurisdictional and many other elements and dimensions.
The purpose of the webinar is:
to summarise and review the key features of the post-Brexit competition regime
to offer an analysis of and to suggest remedies to the main dilemmas and challenges emerging after leaving the EU
and to highlight the main perspectives and opportunities which the new reality and status offer to the UK.
The post-Brexit competition regime will preserve all of its distinctive features, but the scale of the reforms needed to be done in a very short period of time against the background of the pandemic raises a number of strategic problems, which will also be discussed.
The webinar will conclude with a discussion and Q&A session.
