Lindesay Low

Lindesay Low is a Scottish qualified solicitor and accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Intellectual Property Law. After a start in general litigation in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, he joined the Scotch Whisky Association, the trade association of the Scotch Whisky industry, where he is now Deputy Director of Legal Affairs. Lindesay leads on the protection of the geographical indication Scotch Whisky across Asia-Pacific and the Americas as well as providing the Association’s 80 plus members with guidance on legal compliance. He is a past member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Intellectual Property Sub-Committee and is currently a Sub-Committee Chair on the International Trademark Association’s Geographical Indications Committee.
