Professor Oles Andriychuk

Professor Oles Andriychuk of Newcastle University Law School was previously Reader in Competition and Internet Law at the University of Strathclyde and Director of Strathclyde Centre for Internet Law and Policy. He is currently Director of the Digital Markets Research Hub. Oles has published widely on various aspects of Competition Law, Legal Philosophy and Law and Technology. His current work focuses on such phenomena as big data and the power of algorithms, the regulation of social networks and new media, post-truth and post-postmodern law, antitrust and disruptive technologies, electronic communications, platform convergence and the idea of net neutrality, and various aspects of sports broadcasting rights.
