On-site training Frequently Asked Questions

Tailored learning
Whether you would like to design a training course from scratch or tweak one of our existing public courses, all On-site Training can be fully tailored to suit your firm’s exact requirements. Our team will help you decide on both the overall topics covered as well as the finer content to be discussed.

Relevance
By selecting the content to be covered including relevant case studies and examples, you can be confident that your team will be able to put their learning into practice straight away with enhanced skills and knowledge that will make a positive impact on their role.

Cost-effectiveness
If you have 4 or more people attending, On-site Training can work out cheaper than booking a public training course. Up to 25 delegates can attend your On-site Training course with no additional fee, so the bigger the group, the cheaper the cost per person. Plus as your course can take place at your choice of location, you will save on travel and accommodation costs.

Confidentiality
As courses are delivered only to your chosen team members, there is the opportunity to cover potentially sensitive subjects that you would not be able to discuss on a public course, such as specific business challenges or circumstances.

Expertly delivered
Central Law Training has access to a large number of highly experienced legal experts and skills and management training professionals. Our team will work with you to source the right speaker for your firm which involves not only considering their areas of specialism but also matching their delivery style with the culture of your firm.

Flexibility
You can decide the best date for your course to take place depending on your firm’s business activities and whether you would like it to be held at your office or an external location.

On-going development
As well as working with you on individual courses, our On-site Training team is highly experienced in developing ongoing training programmes to ensure our client’s continue to grow and meet the requirements of the SRA’s continuing competence regime.

Initial consultation
With every client, the On-site Training process begins with an initial consultation. This is an opportunity for us to learn about your firm and gain an understanding of the type of training that you are looking for. It allows us to explain On-site Training in more detail, answer any questions you may have and determine whether On-site Training is the correct solution for your firm.

Scoping
After the initial consultation, our On-site Training team will begin to put together a plan of how Central Law Training can help you achieve your desired outcomes. At the scoping stage, we look in-depth at your exact training requirements and objectives, the experience levels and required competencies of your delegates, as well as defining the final outcomes and expectations of training.

Design
With a full understanding of your training objectives we will develop the ideal content around your learning objectives. We are able to tailor all course content to suit your firm, decide on the level of delivery and methodology to be used, source the perfect expert trainer and create custom materials if needed.

With a large public programme, we may be able to modify an existing course from our extensive programme or design fully tailored training.

Delivery
On-site Training can be delivered either at your offices or an external venue on a date that fits around your firm’s business activities. We will ask for feedback from each participant so that we can evaluate the success of your training and ensure objectives were met.

Evaluation
After your training takes place, we will consolidate all participant feedback and arrange an evaluation discussion. This is a chance to reflect on the training delivered, address any particular course feedback and identify areas for future training.

Whilst the development of a tailored training solution may sound an expensive option, it is surprisingly cost-effective. As long as there are 4 or more people attending, On-site Training can work out cheaper than booking a public training course.

Plus as On-site Training can take place at your office, you will save on travel and accommodation costs as well as minimising disruption and time away from desks.
