The Antisocial Behaviour etc. (Scotland) Act 2004 is still with us, as is anti-social behaviour, with all the challenges that it presents for landlord and tenant.
As the implications of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014 and the Private Housing (Tenancies) (Scotland) Act 2016 become more familiar, landlords now also have to consider the changes brought by the Covid-19 pandemic when considering their responses.
This course enables delegates to:
define anti-social behaviour in terms of the Act and related legislation
identify where possible responses may be affected by measures taken in response to the Covid-19 pandemic
discuss the role of the First Tier Tribunal as introduced by the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014
explore relevant eviction grounds and their application in both public and private sector tenancies.
