The conference will include presentations from Kim Leslie of Irwin Mitchell, Simon Hammond from Digby Brown, David Hennessy of Keoghs, Isla Davie KC, Katherine Allen of Hugh James, Stephanie Watson from Thorntons and Peter Demick of Kennedys.
Questions to be considered will include

- how do you navigate the “new” expenses regime in personal injury litigation?
- what do you need to know about cruise claims?
What's being covered?

Navigating the Scottish law on limitation in child abuse cases: progress made, questions remain
This session addresses the complexities and recent changes in the law regarding the time limits (limitation) for bringing child abuse cases to court. It highlights the progress made in extending these time limits to allow more survivors to seek justice, while also acknowledging that some questions and challenges remain in fully implementing these changes. We will also comment on the refreshed guidance from Redress Scotland so that practitioners build confidence in their ability to triage cases.
