In this talk, Alan will draw on over 25 years of experience as one of the select panel of solicitors appointed by Insurers for the Law Society of Scotland Master Policy Scheme to recount a few war stories and cautionary tales, identify some common pitfalls for the unwary commercial property lawyer and talk about some PI claim trends in commercial property matters. Above all, though, Alan will impart some tips on managing the risk of a PI claim arising and offer some practical guidance to anyone unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of a claim on how best to deal with it in such a way as to minimise any loss or damage.
