Katherine has practised in the field of International Personal Injury and Travel Litigation since 1999. Katherine acts in cases across the whole range of travel personal injury litigation including package holiday claims, foreign RTAs, aviation accidents, accidents on cruise ships, foreign employers and occupier’s liability claims. She has over 18 years’ experience in this field and has particular expertise in serious brain and spinal injury cases and cases involving points relating to jurisdiction and applicable law. She has also advised clients who have been touched directly by terrorist attacks abroad, such as the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the beach attack in Sousse, Tunisia. She is accredited by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) as a specialist in cases involving accidents and illness abroad and she regularly lectures for APIL. She is an active member of the Pan-European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL) and is chair of PEOPIL's Road Traffic Accident European Exchange Group. She is also a member of the Travel and Tourism Lawyers' Association and of the American Association for Justice.
