She has extensive experience in high value catastrophic injury claims, particularly birth trauma and has secured substantial compensation for clients in cerebral palsy and brain injury cases, the most recent of which settled out of court at over £12m. She has a wide variety of cases, including those concerning treatment provided by surgeons, GPs, dentists, ophthalmologists, nurses, radiologists and other health professionals, and has been involved in many cases arising out of a delayed diagnosis of cancer. Ann has been ranked in medical/clinical negligence work for a number of years in both the Legal 500 and Chambers. She has been involved in the development of the pre-action protocol in clinical negligence claims, which aims to speed up the investigation and resolution of suitable cases.
