Zaynab Al Nasser advises clients in relation to financial provision on divorce, dissolution or cessation of cohabitation as well as the drafting of prenuptial, cohabitation, postnuptial and separation agreements. She has experience of representing clients in disputes involving child contact, residence and relocation issues (including international relocation or removal). Zaynab is certified by the Law Society as a Trauma Informed Lawyer, and seeks where possible to resolve matters for clients by negotiation. Where that is not possible, she is a determined and thoughtful litigator, representing her clients’ interests in court whilst supporting them through the process. Zaynab regularly appears at the Sheriff Court and instructs Counsel as required in Court of Session litigation. She has a particular interest in cases with an international dimension, including issues relating to jurisdiction, applicable law and foreign assets.
