Lynne Cardow is a Partner of DAC Beachcroft who specialises in professional negligence claims acting for professional insureds and their indemnity insurers. She is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in professional negligence. She is well known for handling professional negligence claims on behalf of solicitors and their insurers under the Law Society of Scotland Master Policy Scheme. Lynne has broad and lengthy experience also acting for a broad range of other professionals in complex, high-value professional negligence cases including accountants and auditors, surveyors, brokers, construction professionals, and education professionals and institutions, including independent schools, Universities and Colleges. As well as dealing with claims, Lynne has regulatory experience, representing solicitor firms and individual solicitors in service and conduct complaints to the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission and to the Law Society of Scotland. She has also developed significant expertise in fraud cases, acting on behalf of insurers and their professional insureds in claims following incidences of payment instruction fraud perpetrated against the professional firm and/or its clients or suppliers.
