Malcolm is a senior lecturer at the School of Law at the University of Strathclyde. He joined the School from the University of Aberdeen, and prior was a solicitor in private practice. He has a particular interest in Scots property law. He is the author of The ScotWays Guide to the Law of Access to Land in Scotland, and he is the General Editor of the annotated statute collection Scottish Landlord and Tenant Legislation published by Greens and co-author (with Peter Robson) of the 4th edition of Residential Tenancies: Private and Social Renting in Scotland.
