Stephanie Watson is an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law by the Law Society of Scotland. Stephanie joined the Personal Injury team within the Dispute Resolution & Claims Department at Thorntons Law LLP after completing her Traineeship with the firm. Now a Legal Director in the Edinburgh team and a robust litigator, Stephanie deals with a wide range of personal injury claims for the firm. She has extensive knowledge of dealing with employers, occupiers and public liability claims and has litigated road traffic claims. She regularly raises Court actions and appears at the All-Scotland Personal Injury Court and at Courts across Scotland to represent her clients. Stephanie provides guidance and knowledge to the team in relation to public liability claims and has had great success over the last year in arguing such claims successfully against Local Authorities. Stephanie also assists Paralegals and Trainee Solicitors in the team to progress claims as quickly as possible to the best outcome for our clients, usually advising on the prospects of litigation or on complex issues of quantum.
