Jim Wilson is Licensing Team Leader at the Scottish Government’s Criminal Law, Practice and Licensing Unit. Jim joined the civil service in 1991. At the start of his civil service career he joined the Department for Work of Pension and enjoyed his 15 years there, before moving across to the Scottish Government in 2006. Within SG Jim has worked on policy, legislation, justice digital transformation and strategy and also spent 14 months heading up the Safer Communities Justice Directorate COVID-19 Hub to support the justice sector response to the pandemic.
