Steven Smart is a Partner and Head of the Glasgow office of Horwich Farrelly. While he has amassed a breadth of experience in his 17 years in practice, Steven has specialised from an early stage in his career in the defence of fraudulent claims and has conducted many proofs in such actions, including against Counsel. Steven has secured judgments where the Court has found fraud to have been established, most recently earlier this year in an action against a local authority. He is a regular contributor to industry counter-fraud forums and groups.
