Jamie Foulis is a partner in Balfour and Manson’s Family Team, acting in a range of matters concerning financial provision on the breakdown of personal relationships and the arrangements which are to be made for children in those circumstances, as well as issues concerning Adults with Incapacity and Professional Regulation. Jamie is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in the fields of Family Law and Regulation of Professional Conduct Law, and is a current committee member and Treasurer of the Family Law Association and a member of the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers. He sat on the Scottish Law Commission’s Advisory Group concerning the reform of the law on cohabitation, whose report was published at the end of 2022.
