Lindsay McIntyre

Lindsay McIntyre is an acoustic engineer with 20 years’ experience in the field of audio and acoustics for live music, venues and events. She founded KSG Acoustics 10 years ago with the purpose of providing independent consultancy for Scotland’s music sector and works closely with venues, promotors, production, and licencing lawyers to deliver successful and compliant events. The last year has been KSG Acoustics busiest yet, with highlights including Connect Festival, SWG3 Yard, Terminal V, FLY Open Air, and Summer Nights at Kelvingrove Bandstand. Lindsay also works as an Expert Witness with specialism in the implementation of agent of change, designed to protect existing venues and events from noise sensitive development in their midst. She is currently involved with Scottish Government Reporter appeals to protect the Old Fruitmarket and City Halls in Glasgow and the 02 Academy in Edinburgh. She is involved on the Night Time Industry Association Scotland Commission and is currently focussed on delivering the Listen for Life campaign in partnership with the World Health Organization to educate and protect the hearing of current and future generations working and playing in the live music environment.
