Alison Weatherhead is an employment partner with Dentons, based in Glasgow, and is Head of Dentons' People, Reward and Mobility practice in Scotland. Alison advises business of all shapes and sizes in the Scottish, UK and international market. This includes contentious and non-contentious matters involving their workforce. She has a particular focus and expertise in transactional and TUPE advice, as well as advising clients on compliance and practical solutions to workforce issues which arise. She is very experienced in providing strategic advice, complex restructuring, FS/SMCR compliant remuneration arrangements, commission and bonus plans, national minimum wage compliance and appointments of directors and non-executive directors (including to plc boards). Alison regularly provides corporate governance advice to client boards, including those which are publicly listed. Alison supports and advises clients on the full range of human resource queries and acts for clients in employment tribunals and judicial mediations, predominantly for employers. Her experience in tribunals includes advising on unfair dismissal, disability discrimination claims, whistleblowing claims and unlawful deductions from wages. Alison has experience in advising on complex grievance and investigation issues.
