Andrew Todd is Group Director - General Counsel and Company Secretary for Springfield Properties plc, an AIM listed house builder focused on developing private and affordable housing in Scotland. Springfield specialises in developing difficult sites (often involving several land owners) that require considerable remediation works or significant investment in infrastructure before commencing development. Andrew trained and qualified at McGrigors (now Pinsent Masons) specialising in house-building, commercial development and property investment. He is the co-author of ‘The Lands Tribunal For Scotland: Law & Practice’ and ‘Commercial Awareness for Lawyers’. He was the editor of ‘Rennie’s Scottish Conveyancing Legislation’ until December 2023. He is currently joint senior tutor of ‘Commercial Awareness’ for the Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow.
