Colin Hulme is head of Burness Paull's Dispute IP team and leads the Firm’s contentious IP practice. He is one of only a handful of litigators to be accredited as an IP specialist by the Law Society of Scotland and has an LLM in IT and Telecommunications Law. Colin is an Associate member of CITMA and ranked as an IP Star by Managing IP. He is the only Scottish litigator ranked in Band 1 for IP by Chambers and also in the Legal 500 “Hall of Fame”. Colin’s team are top ranked in all main legal directories and have been named the Managing IP Contentious Firm of the Year in Scotland. In recent years, Colin’s team has registered more than half of all actions commenced in the IP Court of Scotland.
