Derek Hand joined First Scottish in 2015, having previously worked for Registers of Scotland since 1983. Derek gained an extensive knowledge of the plans discipline, working closely with both internal and external parties including the Ordnance Survey. Derek regularly provides advice to clients in the following areas: deed plan preparation; Ordnance Survey map interpretation; plans reports and adverse answers; title investigation; competing titles; rectification; and tenement steading cadastral units.
