Stephen McGowan is Partner and Head of Licensing (Scotland) at TLT LLP. Stephen is an Accredited Specialist in Liquor Licensing from the Law Society of Scotland and author of McGowan on Alcohol Licensing (2021) amongst other books. Stephen has held a number of senior positions for charities and trade bodies and has appeared at licensing boards all over Scotland. Most recently, Stephen was awarded Legal Partner of the Year at the Scottish Professional Awards 2024.
