Michael Greig is a Legal Director of DLA Piper and has over thirty years' experience in planning law including substantial in-house planning authority experience. He is convenor of the Law Society of Scotland's planning law committee and sits on the Editorial Board of Scottish Planning and Environmental Law. He has also tutored in planning law at Aberdeen University and served on the planning committee of Scottish Renewables. Michael's combination of in-house and private sector experience has given him an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the planning system. Michael regularly speaks at seminars on roads and planning law and recently published a new textbook - Roads and Development in Scotland: A Practical Guide.
