Florence Gibson of Westwater Advocates called to the Bar in June 2026 as the Faculty Scholar. She has a particular interest in family law. Prior to calling to the Bar, Florence trained with a highly regarded specialist family law firm in Edinburgh. She gained high-grade experience across a range of private family law disputes, with particular focus on Court of Session litigation. With a strong interest in the development of Scots private and family law, Florence is a contributing editor to Butterworths Scottish Family Law Service, a regular contributor to Greens Family Law Bulletin, and has tutored, presented and provided research assistance across a range of practice areas.
