Andy Attfield of Reddie & Grose leads a technology team focussed on the emerging space sector and has handled a wide variety of patent applications from across the space sector from fields including satellite hardware, telecommunications and in-orbit servicing. Additionally, Andy has extensive experience prosecuting software patent applications before the European Patent Office and the UK Intellectual Property Office and much of his work involves prosecuting patent applications in fields prone to receiving excluded subject matter objections from the European Patent Office such as AI, business and fintech. Along with his prosecution experience, a large part of Andy’s practice is patent drafting, both for UK and European prosecution as well as for direct US filings.
