Nicola Brown is Head of Service at the Public Defence Solicitors’ Office. Before joining in 2007, Nicola was a Procurator Fiscal Depute and then Legal Manager at the District Court (now Justice of the Peace Court). Nicola was contracted by the Judicial Studies Committee to assist with a national programme of Justice of the Peace training after beginning her role at the PDSO and has also provided legal training to lawyers and administration staff both locally and nationally.
