Emily Bradbury

Prior to calling to the Scottish Bar in 2021, Emily Bradbury of Westwater Advocates was a barrister in England and Wales, called in 2009.  She comes to the Scottish Bar with 11 years of experience in court advocacy, having specialised in family law for the last seven years. She has been instructed in proofs in relation to children’s matters and financial provision upon divorce, conducted hearings in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session, including those dealing with emergency protective orders and has been instructed in cases involving overseas clients, intra-UK jurisdictional issues, allegations of parental alienation, domestic violence, and child abuse. She has advised in a wide range of subjects including The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2010 and the Hague Convention.
